Aaaaand she's finished! Feels like a bit of an anti-climax but oh well I've learned things!
I learned a lot about my workflow and what I can do/avoid earlier on to save myself trouble; things like detailing the skin in the highpoly, knowing what is better to bake than try and give geometry, smarter hair alpha placement and various other things.
I struggled a lot with the blood, and not being a huge fan of excessive gore or violence I really didn't want to google certain things even if it was to find solid reference, so I should probably consider that next time I want to make something!
I also didn't really consider the design before I started either. Rookie move but I figured since she was based in real life it wouldn't matter, but actually when it came to things like the dress it just didn't read very well for the situation she was in.
Also RENDERING AND LIGHTING!! I've been told about the importance of this time and time again but I just don't have a very good eye for it so its something I need to research and learn and apply!
There are lots of other little things that only make sense to me but by creating this character I've got a lot to bear in mind for the next ones so its been incredibly useful, even if the outcome isn't AAA standard (trust me I won't be happy till it is).
