After what felt like treading on water for the past couple of days I'm really happy to be able to get a good pace going again.


I finally got my sleeves to work! I had to alter my original design so that these were easier to make but I feel like it was worth it. I managed to create pressure in the material so they look a little more 'puffy' which is the effect I was trying to achieve.


I got them into my Zbrush project and onto my model. I then went in cleaning them up. I still have a lot of editing and changing to do with them but I'm so relieved they work!



Now that I'd done this I was able to block out other parts of her clothes in 3DS max that would have otherwise been too awkward to make from scratch in Zbrush. I forgot to screenshot them but the extra pieces I made in max were incredibly low-poly but I only needed them to provide me the geometry to work with.



I still have several pieces to add before I move onto details but I'm really excited to continue working on this project!
