I've started on the lace detailing today. What I've done so far is create different swirls by drawing a mask on an alpha and deleting the rest. Then I've added a little bit of texture and interest to it before saving it out and using matchmaker to make it conform to her body shape.


After I do a couple more pieces I'll probably be able to just keep using those throughout the dress which will save me from doing them all individually.


I'm really pleased with my progress so far and I'm looking forward to putting detail over the entire thing! I'll probably put something in place for her hair soon to help visualise her a little better.
